Section 4 – What is ‘Child Inclusive Mediation (CIM)’ practice?

‘Child-inclusive’ practice can be defined as a process which gives children and young people the opportunity to have a conversation (verbal, written, through play or storytelling) with the professionals who are assisting their parents to make arrangements for the children’s future.

Section 4 – Finances

Pre-school children are likely to be become confused and thrown by changes in routines and are also likely to blame themselves when things go wrong.

It is crucial that the valuer receives a clear, concise and accurate set of instructions which means that you will have to be very clear yourselves about what you want the valuer to do and how this is going to help you make decisions and reach a fair financial outcome, in mediation.
